Rodger Friedman serves as a Managing Director, as well as a founding partner of Steward Partners Global Advisory. He has 36 years of experience as a wealth manager in the financial services industry, both advising clients as well as managing the complex operations of a large wealth management office. Rodger’s primary focus is retirement planning. Rodger resigned from Morgan Stanley in 2014 where he served as a Senior Vice President-Wealth Management and a Senior Investment Management Consultant. Rodger holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® designation from the College for Financial Planning.

Rodger’s team focuses on assisting a limited number of families in developing a written retirement income strategy and structuring their planning and investments for a rewarding retirement. The team has many years of experience working with entrepreneurial family leaders 50 and older who have achieved financial success and need their expertise to create retirement income strategies that preserve their wealth and maintain their desired standard of living. The team has extensive experience working with clients attorneys, CPA’s and insurance professionals.

Born and bred in New York City, Rodger is a graduate of the State University of New York where he studied political science and economics. For the last 30 years, he has called the Washington D.C. area his home. Rodger and his wife Reena live in Rockville, MD. They have two grown children. In addition to his support for a number of charities, Rodger spends his time writing and lifting weights.
